i have a az3-710-eb54 and it seems like i can upgrade the cpu, my current one has 35w power its the i3-4170t, but trying to find any of the other t series cpu that take 35w for a good price seems impossible.
can i just throw in any lga1150 thats 50w or 65w etc and as long as i upgrade the cooling then its fine? or will the mobo not work/bios wont let me?

i can get a lga 1150 i5-4460 for a cheap price locally, i can try finding some that take less power since this is 84w, but is that all good?
or can i ONLY upgrade to what the computer shipped with in different models which would be a i5 or i7 t series?

im not gaming or anything, i just want the computer a bit faster cuz the i3 doesnt really cut the tasks i do, i wont even be pushing the upgraded cpu to max power anyways

thx!!

    Good evening jalikaria !

No, it can't ... only standard computer motherboards can be done this way.

In devices like yours, there are limiting factors such as support from controllers, Bios, maximum TDP, support from PSU, etc.

You also have to stick with 4th gen, even though other generations used the same socket, the chipsets have to match. I believe the best you can do is the i7-4785T, the various 4790s all use quite a bit more power. A quick search shows an i7-4765T for around $70 used. That's a whole lot better than the 4785T for twice the money.
