Can I safely install generic Intel DCH drivers? A515-52G

Hello,

There's an update for Intel® Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers:


When I try to install them, I get this error:

• Windows XP*
• Intel® Pentium® or Intel® Celeron® Processor

Is it okay to install generic graphics driver? Won't it cause, for example, turbo boost not work?
Also I have another question - is turbo boost enabled by default, or do I have to enable it in BIOS? I can't find option to enable it in BIOS.

Hello,

Yes, you can install the latest Intel driver. You have to download this one from the Intel website, uninstall the current one with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller), restart your computer and install the new one.
