I recently purchased the R20HY monitor and have hooked up a device via HDMI input.  That being said I am unable to change the resolution to 1080p of the image in the HDMI input, it seems to be locked on 720p.  Is there a way to switch to the higher resolution?  Is that an option in this model?

What device is connected to the monitor? It's native resolution is 1080P.

Yeah, that should be working fine, the PS3 is pretty old, but it's done 1080P in all variations of the console. Have you tested the cable? Which specific model of the R240HY do you have? I think they were all 1080P and only really had different input ports, different languages and speakers or no speakers.

Ah, just found the problem.  PS3 was locked at 720 for some reason.  Thanks for helping out this dummy (me)!

So how do you unlock the PS3 for 1080P?
