How do you find the Windows OEM or Serial without booting up a laptop?

I purchased 2 Acer laptops in December and one of them is now not booting up. It gets to the signon screen and just blinks. Any attempt to enter the password fails because it just resets back to the signon screen each time it blinks. I tried Alt F10 and did a factory reset, but it only gets to 1% before going back to the Alt F10 screen - I think from the same issue. I believe I need to do a USB boot but I would need the Windows info which I can't retrieve because the laptop won't boot. I have spent close to 3 hours on hold waiting for a rep from Acer and don't even know if anyone is working there today. I tried to enter a ticket online and got a pretty quick response telling me I should call. Not sure where to go from here. HELP!!!!

It depends on the laptop model, but usually there is a S/N on the back. With my Switch it's behind where the kickstand comes out.
