    Hi,
You could try flushing dns to rectify slow browsing, click start type cmd and select run as Admin, type  ipconfig /flushdns and press enter.
You also should consider replacing 1TB HDD with a 2.5" SSD, it will improve overall performance of the laptop.
As for the battery not charging, you could try a battery reset, switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains and follow the instructions in the video, leave the laptop to rest for a while, reconnect AC adapter and fully charge the battery before start using it again.

My laptop is still slow at opening file folder, applications and browsing the internet.
Compared to my brother low specs Dell desktop whereby his applications and browsing takes less than 0.1s,it takes mine about 2 secs with much higher specs.
Also I checked the disk usage in task manager not spiking to 100%.i have disable all the notifications as I Google how to improve performance of windows 10 and defragment my drive but performance is still unsatisfactory.
    Any idea why?

    Hi,
You could try switching to different DNS provider, like Cloudflare.
    The address:
    1.1.1.1
    1.0.0.1
Go to Network sharing centre, click your WiFi click Properties, highlight IPV4 and select Properties, change the address at the next window.

Please click "Yes" for "Did this answer the question", if I resolve the problem.

    Hi @thomas82
I  think your HDD is the culprit, I would suggest you to get a 2.5" SSD and replace the HDD, it will improve the performance immensely.
