Hello.
I have weird problem, when I press the power button the laptop seems like it turns on, cpu fan is running and keyboard light is on but the screen wont turn on.
I tried the battery reset button, tried to connect it to external display, both methods didnt work.
Would glad to get some help.

Any beeps? If you allow it to boot up at least to where the login prompt would normally be, can you shine a flashlight at the screen from an angle? If it's the screen backlight that should show you faint indications on the screen of the normal display.

a beep sound pops when I insert/pull out the charging cable.
The screen is completely black, even with flashlight.

OK, so something is working, but it's not the backlight failure that would make it somewhat easier. I'm guessing either the display went or the cable between the display and the motherboard. I don't think I asked, are you still in warranty? If so this is the time to contact Acer support and they'll get you fixed. If you are out of warranty are you comfortable with tearing into it?

unfortunately the laptop is not under warranty anymore.
I already pulled the back off, pulled the battery and the motherboard battery, thought maybe a bios reset may do the trick.
I didnt try to un plug the screen, i will give it a shot.

Yes, let us know what you find there, also look at that cable near the hinge in case it's starting to fray.

Yeah, seems to be held on fairly well with that tape. Try removing and reseating that connector a few times to make sure there's no corrosion building up and flex the wires a bit to see if there's a weak spot where those bends are. Make sure to put the tape back on solidly so the connector can't work its way loose.
