In the BIOS, what is set for booting, UEFI or Legacy?

It looks like at least one machine that uses the motherboard is the Veriton M6620 and M6620G...

    Hi Billsey,
I tried both UEFI and Legacy, both did not work.
I tried both of the BIOS's for the Veriton M6620 and M6620G. Both give an error stating something about it not being compatible. (I don't remember the exact text at the moment.)
Do you know if I would brick my board if I forced the BIOS update?
Or how would I go about recovering it, if I did?

Thank you! so much for your time and suggestions. Its very much appreciated.
