I bought my laptop a couple of years ago and from few days i found this Aspire laptop left side began to crackle everytime the screen was open and closed, slowly on the same side the plasitic became more and more separated, until recently this was not a major issue but as time wore on that small gap has become so wide it seperates the whole computer in two causing more damage to screen and laptop. As I begin to research this problem I came to find that this was something that has happened to almost every acer laptop no matter the price or type, now my question is since this is a manufacturers problem shouldn't ACER fix this issue without any cost to the customer since it is something that should have been fix in design phase?
Really unsatisfied with this Laptop

Hinge problem are almost always wear and tear items instead of design defects. Although they do happen, it's pretty rare and can usually be traced to something like opening crookedly. They can be found with almost every laptop made, regardless of manufacturer...
