Max storage limit per M.2 slot & the SATA port? - Acer Helios 300 PH315-52-72EV
Recently ordered an Acer Helios 300 PH315-52-72EV. Waiting for it to arrive still, expected to be delivered tomorrow.
I've been researching my storage upgrade options & getting prices but have seen conflicting information on storage limits for the Helios 300- some posts say max 2TB on the 2.5" SATA slot, 512GB for the M.2 slots etc. (I understand the model I have purchased should have 2 M.2 slots and 1 2.5" SATA)
I was wondering if anyone could confirm for me the MAX GB or TB per M.2 slot as well as the 2.5" SATA port?
Can't find any solid or official info on it (pdf manual from the laptop's support page had nothing on it and can't seem to find a Qualified Vendor list or equivalent outside of Crucial's RAM & SSD page for the laptop- which is only 50% helpful)
Ideally I want/need 6TB total internally (x2 2TB M.2 NVME sticks and a 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD)
Small notes
1) I fully understand using 2 NVMEs will cut the bandwidth of the M.2 slots. I am not new to computer hardware and software.
2) I have a good handful of games I prefer NOT to install on a HDD, internal or external, due to loading times and lots of mods. 100% aware SSDs do not effect FPS- purely after shortened loading times regarding games and some programs.
