Recently, I have bought new Acer Swift 3 (SF314-58G), which turned out to be not a very wise decision of mein. The problem is that I prefer linux on my personal devices, but to install one on my new laptop is quite a challenge. I've been using acer laptops for a while and never expected such a problem.
I have tried several distributives, and finally succeeded with Manjaro + Xfce, I can boot and even my touchpad works, though now I've got a "black screen situation": whenever I suspend or hibernate the screen turns black for probably ever. The only thing left is to press power button.
I would love if somebody here could give me any clue how to get a nice working device, except for installing windows, which is my plan Z.
I also can not give you an error message, because it does not show any, but I am totally willing to give any parameters needed.
I have 8G of memory, SSD and i7. For SATA mode use AHCI, secure boot disabled (otherwise, no boot for me).
