Earphone

The Acer 300 earphone seems to have a jack connection which looks bigger on the picture than the round hole next to the usb connectors ? nervous about it buying it online from the Acer Shop even though half price. Over 70 yo and could be about to face lock down so would like to use skype and be able to talk rather than type messages. Might have to call in our little high street tech shop if not re-assured about the compatibilty of the Acer 300 to my Aspire ES-17. Thanks for any help.

You can actually call the acer support and check the specifications and return time. If so, you not satisfied you still have time to return the device.

I never return anything I buy hence my preference to ensure it's ok. If not confirmed by Friday morning will pop into the high street tech shop when I do my weekly shop.
