Upgrading Ram - AN515-54

So recently I just got Modern Warfare - Warzone and I was lacking in fps heavily. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I want to upgrade my ram. I know how to upgrade the ram (from videos and etc), but I'm not sure what ram stick or how many gigs of ram I should get. 32g's might be overkill, but can it handle it? With the 32g, + the 8 already in, it would be 40g of ram (tbh I have no idea how this works.). I'm pretty sure there's no point for that, but just a question I had in mind. I was wondering what type of ram stick I should get, a 16g an 8g or whatever. Leave your suggestions in reply, please!

My specs

Processor: i5-9300h (2.4ghz up to 4.1ghz)
Graphics card: Nvidia Gtx Geforce1650
1tb internal storage
8gb ram

(I'm pretty sure that's all you need). Ask for more info, if you need it.

Hi,
You can upgrade up to 32GB DDR4 2400/2666MHz modules, I would suggest you to install CPU-z and run it, find out the specs of your current module(speed, CL value etc.) get another matching 8GB module and install to make the total memory of 16GB.

Yes, it's the correct module, you have to make sure that opening the back cover doesn't void your warranty, if you have a warranty warning sticker on top of any screws, please contact Acer Support centre and get the upgrade done by them, if you don't have the warning sticker, remove the screws at the bottom cover, separate the bottom cover and lift it off, then you can install memory modules, watching some youtube videos will help with the procedure.

Yes, you can install a 16GB module to make a total of 24GB but to utilise dual channel mode you have to install same size modules in both slot. If you are thinking of 16GB RAM module, go for 2x16GB setup, get DDR4 2666MHz with CL value of 15.

So I used the website you suggested, and the thing is that I'm not a computer expert at all, and I'm not sure how many pins it needs. I'm pretty sure it's 260 because I searched up the exact model of ram I have right now. Yes, it's the correct module, you have to make sure that opening the back cover doesn't void your warranty, if you have a warranty warning sticker on top of any screws, please contact Acer Support centre and get the upgrade done by them, if you don't have the warning sticker, remove the screws at the bottom cover, separate the bottom cover and lift it off, then you can install memory modules, watching some youtube videos will help with the procedure.
