Hi there,

i just bought an Acer Nitro 5 model laptop yesterday. It has i7 9750H CPU and GTX 1660ti GPU.

Here is the question: I'm having 40-50c (usually near to 50 or more) temps while idle and +90c degrees in games. But in stress tests, i saw 81c max with Auto Fan settings. I do not use any laptop cooler or thermal pads for now and i already undervolted -0.140v.  Are those values normal, or should i worry about it? Thank you.

As my colleague @GAMING6698 says consistant 90c + is not normal when gaming, ideally you should aim for for 85c or less with the occasional spike. The stock Thermal paste is not that good and many users repaste with Grizzly Kryonaut. What is your exact model number?
Also try Undervolt using one of the custom Throttlestop packages designed by one of our dedicated gamers. They are well tested and very easy to use, aim for below 85c, click the link below. If you have Intel XTU uninstall it first

Hi, Find the temperature info of your unit below.
Nitro products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components. It is common for PC temperatures to spike temporarily during heavy gaming or graphic usage. If the system encounters excessive temperatures that could damage the hardware, it will automatically shut down to protect the components from becoming damaged.
If in case if the unit is still hot, check the link below and contact the Acer support and they will help you.

It is a Nitro AN517-51. I was using Intel XTU but uninstalled it, then downloaded i7 9750H profile from the link you added but i'm not sure if it's worked or not. I can see TPU app in the right bottom of my screen and values of my cpu and gpu.

Actually, i played PUBG like for 20-30 minutes, i saw 86c max but it was for a very short time and suddenly drop to 70-75c and kept that value. I also bought a notebook cooler, its effective too i think. This situation make me feel more comfortable.
