Hi I got my Triton 500 for about 7 months now and the cpu is always going high like above 90°C on games like Assassin's Creed or High demanding games while my GPU max max max is like 76°C in a hot day.
I always let the fan on auto and when it get hot I active CoolBoost (but never play on MAX cause I'm scared that my fans going to die in 2 years because of the wear of it) So I wanted to know if I need to undervol my I7-9750H and I can't find good information about which voltage, I want to have an expert to help I have already installed Intel XTU thx !

Undervolt using one of the custom packages  designed by our resident expert on undervolting. They are safe well tested and easy to use

However the underlying cause is Thermal paste deteriorating so repaste with Grizzly Kryonaut as well

AsIIsA follow the advice that @andylb provided above but because you stated you already installed xtu reset it to default settings and completely remove it shutdown the laptop (not restart) boot into bios and reset to defaults and use ts provided above fort your own cpu model regarding the repasting with kryonaut or similar as advised and if still needed check first if you can do it yourself without voiding the warranty otherwise only acer can do it with stock thermal paste also optimize your windows

Wow just insane I wanted to test 2 days before writing something, but the change is just insane :open_mouth: 91°C to 73°C (not even on max fan speed 4000CPU/5400GPU) in AC Odyssey and in général the pc is so cooler thanks you very much  !
