ssd not showing up anyhere

hello, I have the nitro 5 anAN515-54-51M5 1650 version, the one that you have to take the whole back plate off to get to the ram and hard drive. I replaced the hard dive with a evo 860, when taking the old hard drive out the ribbon connection just came out. now new ssd is in but it wont show up in disk connections or bios. opened it back up and the realized the clip that holds the connector of the ribbon down doest lock down and the ribbon cable just moves around. if the clip is broken and can no longer be used what can I use a Samsung m.2 ssd?

Hi,
You have two M.2 SSD slots, you can install a M.2 NVMe SSD in one slot up to a recommended size of 512GB and in the second slot, you can use a M.2 NVMe or a SATA SSD up to 512GB.

Does either of those slow the gpu down? I thought I herd that nvme takes some pcie lanes and sows gpu.and  I think it’s not connecting because the clip on the mobo is clamping down.
