I have 2 Acer V277U - 27" monitors connected to an older Dell Latitude E7450 through an advanced Dell E-Dock with DisplayPort cables.  I got a new Dell Latitude 7490 that uses the newer USB-C
connection to a Dell WD-19 docking station with the same DisplayPort cables and one of the monitors work perfectly and the other will only display a jittery 1920 x 1080 resolution instead of the native  2560 x 1440.   Thought maybe it was the dock so I tried someone else with a WD-19 in the office and the same thing happens.  I happen to have an oddball Lenovo laptop using a Thinkpad USB-C Gen 2 dock and the same thing happens on it.  Is there some driver I'm missing for USB-C docks? I find it odd that it works fine on a 5+year old laptop/dock and not on something brand new out of the box.  I have updated bios, dock firmware and video drivers.  Don't know what else to try.

I don't k now the Dell WD-19 specifically, but some of the Dell docks only support one video output at a time...
