GTX 1660TI Huge lags since a few days

Since November, I have obtained an Acer Nitro 5 2019 (AN515-54) equipped with a GTX 1660TI, an I5 9300H, a 256 GB NVME SSD for Windows and a 1 TB SSHD. But for a few days now, I have had huge drops of FPS in absolutely every game (Rise Of the Tomb Raider, Forza H4, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Rage 2, Just Cause 4, CSGO ...). Normally, my graphics card is capable of running all these games in 60 FPS without any problem. Here's exactly what happens during a game session (applicable to any game):

- The game is launched and is in 60 FPS
- After a few tens of seconds, lags / stutters begin to appear
- After two / three minutes, I have huge drops of FPS (down from 60 FPS to 10, then returns to 60FPS, then drops back to 10 every second).

You will have understood that this experience is completely horrible. Also I want to clarify that sometimes the drops of FPS arrive directly at the launch of the game.
Here is what I tried so against that:

- Defragment SSHD to improve performance
- Execute all possible and imaginable tests with cmd (Sfc scannow, DISM and everything else ...)
- Remove all traces of the NVIDIA driver with the DDU utility, then reinstall the latest driver with Gef Experience
- Completely reset Windows by cleaning the drive
- Install absolutely all the drivers

So I tried everything, but nothing could solve the problem. I absolutely don't know what to do; everything worked perfectly about two weeks ago. The laptop is completely new and has no faults that could harm it. What could I do about it ??

I'm back.
So I came through a LOT of research and completely fixed my overheating problem by three simple steps : 

1) I changed my thermal paste and the laptop now runs waaayyyyyyyy cooler. If you have a Nitro 5, I HIGHLY recommend it, I'll tell you why at the end.
2) I disabled Intel Turbo mode with a software called "Throttle Stop", and it also avoided quite a bit of heating.
3) I went in the NVIDIA Control Panel and changed the "Preferred graphics processor" to autoselect, which is set by default, but maybe some people forced it to the NVIDIA card like me. It basically turns off the NVIDIA GPU when not needed, which saves about 10-15 degrees.

With these three steps, my Nitro 5 went from 80-85 degrees to 40-45 degrees. If you don't believe me, take a look at this !



Now, the fans are running so slowly that I can't hear them, not even in a silent night !

So for the thermal paste, I heard from a LOT of people and forums that the Nitro 5 Laptops are all running hot because of their bad thermal paste. The guy who replaced mine told me that it was a really good choice because the thermal paste was really bad, and he insisted on this. What a shame to release a GAMING LAPTOP with such a bad thermal paste !

It took me quite a long time to find out about all that stuff, and I wanted to share it so that it would help others wih the same problem !
