Ok, so this has been bothering me for a while now. It worked fine on my Helios 500.
I have the factory NVMe in it's original slot, my 960 EVO (NVMe) in the other slot, and my 850 EVO (SATA SSD) in my HDD bay.
Windows recognizes the drives, and so does Samsung Magician, even as far as the firmware versions on them.
But for the life of me, I can't get the Samsung NVMe driver to install. It just keeps saying that the NVMe drive wasn't detected when I try to install the driver.
I made the necessary registry edits to enable AHCI mode, but they don't seem to stick (even when changing them while in safeboot mode). Plus, I don't have the "iaStoreAV" section.
It's starting to look like it's impossible to install the driver on this machine. There also are several BIOS options that are unavailable, no matter what settings you change. But I don't think any of those will help here.
