Monitor Audio Delay

I got a new monitor, and for some reason, the 1st 2 seconds of audio playback from the speakers whether it be from a browser or music player or speaker test will be silent. Not every time, but it seems like half the time. None of the fixes listed here have worked.

I know it's the monitor because it doesn't happen when I plug headphones into the case. I don't think it's the drivers because I've tried reinstalling Windows which reverted the drivers back to the default ones, and it still happens whether I use those or update to the newest ones. And I've tried uninstalling the Realtek drivers and installing the generic Windows ones.

It's irritating. Why is this happening, and how do I fix it?

Someone else already answered this in the interim. Apparently, one of the Realtek drivers kept making my speakers go into idle if I hadn't used them for a few seconds. But thank you for the attempt.
