Throw the 2gb away and go for 4gb x 4gb for 8gb total, 8gbs is the minimum most programs need for smooth operation and remember that your system will reserve 1gb, so even with 8gb you will only have 7gb available
Go to this Crucial link it is for 2 x 4gb sticks DDR3 1600 which will downclock to your max of 1333 which isn’t commonly available so Crucial have tested the 1600 and they guarantee it is compatible for your model
