Hello ALl... I have an Acer aspire e5 574g. Its bios version is v 1.18 ( latest version). But this makes the laptop slow down in a very short time besides not allowing boot in uefi mode. I had to turn into Legacy. This made it worse. System interruptions around % 15 cpu usage and in idle total cpu usage is around %30. I resetted windows many times. No use! I formatted it many times. No use! I changed updated drivers to the recomended drivers on the acer page. No use! I tried to restore factory defaults on bios menu. No use! I removed the bios battery and waited for a while (at least 30 minutes

). No use! I tried to download other versions of bios but it requires newer version not the previous bios versions.. No use! I tried to find the cmos jumper but could not find it (It needs to be cut short {touch a metal on someplaces on the motherboad but I am not sure about it because I can destroy the motherboard). Well, the question: Is there a jumper on the motherboard to downgrade or restore bios default version or do you have any solution in your mind ? I can not get down to my PhD thesis because of this problem. ALl your assistance is fully appreciated, in advance...
