i have a similar laptop sf314-56G, and I would recommend you ubuntu budgie 18.04 LTS 64 bit edition, why? Budgie is a simple modern desktop user interface, and relatively fast/responsive. The LTS you get long term support and is stable, ubuntu has a large audience, so help can be found easily on internet.

What BIOS settings you need to check and change: disable fast boot in the beginning, set the sata disk mode in AHCI (change from RST), enable F12 to get the boot menu, keep secure boot.

Download rufus to make a live usb from the ubuntu download iso file. Prepare yourself with one of the disk partitioning tools either on windows - diskmgmt, mini tool partition wizard, or in linux - gparted (in live ubuntu) to shrink your ssd windows disk, so linux can fit in.

Prepare yourself with ubuntu installation manual about how to install ubuntu alongside windows, and how much space and partitions you want to allocate for ubuntu installation. Make a backup of your windows installation as well a recovery usb in case something goes wrong.

If you boot the live usb, first try ubuntu without installing and check hardware is working ok, like wifi, bluetooth, sound, camera, etc.and play around with gparted to get to know disk partitioning.

    Good luck!
