Hi,

I recently bought a Predator Helios 300 PH317-53 and the fans have a high pitched noise, especially on idle. It's really annoying when I want to work. I knew the fans were high pitched, but I didn't know it was the case even on idle...
Here's a recording of it : https://drive.google.com/file/d/139rsrwlunOrQ4AIDfLEY5ZG_s4O4K6_A/view?usp=sharing
I think this noise come from the fans since it get worse when the fans ramp up. But in this case, it gets drown in the blowing noise.

Is this high pitched noise a normal behaviour on the helios 300 ? I'm not sure I can get used to it...

Eslaeo thats completely normal the new 4th gen aeroblades owl wing tip are usually more noisy on idle (kinda a bit similar to coil whine sound sometimes) than on high rpms its the blades design itself and cant be fixed because the curve of all H300 2019 was changed to a bit more aggressive one to provide even better cooling and they cant stop under 40 degrees as we can on the 2017/18 variants the stop temps for the fans its on the 30/35'ish (which will never happen to get them so low) some even replaced the aeroblade fans for delta plastic ones and got good results (after repasting with kryonaut or similar of course) regarding fan noise but i dont advise it at all only the triton's still have the same curve as the older H300's they can completely shutdown the fans under 40's
