  • The turbo boost is activated automatically. Put the processor at 100% here:

This is an endless and ongoing discussion. The problem is that users believe that when Turboboost is enabled it becomes the default processor speed but that is NOT the case, the default speed will stay as the non boosted speed. Turboboost speed will only kick in when a program or game puts the CPU under enough stress to need the boost, which isn’t very often, in fact CPUZ stress test often can’t do it. So you are not going to open your task manager and see a boosted speed just because it’s enabled. If you want to test that Turboboost works, download and run Aida64 Extreme, it’s free for 60 days and it will create enough stress to turn on the Turboboost.
    https://www.aida64.com/products/aida64-extreme

Click the Tools tab in the top menu then select Stress CPU (not FPU that is in the pic below), Run the test for 10 minutes and it will give you speed and temperatures etc

Please click YES if I answered your question

Thank you and have a blessed day  B)

    Hi,
    make sure that:
    1. Your power option is set to "High Performance"
    2. GeForce Experience is up to date
    3. And most important, Acer Nitro V will automatically turbo boost if your applications are asking for more resources and that your battery charge is over 50%.

Just figure the last point out in another post regarding this issue.
