Laggish in Windows and opening apps. gaming was quite okay so far What to do to remove the lag issue

I have nitro 5 ryzen 5 3550H Primary gpu of radeon vega 8 and discrete gpu of RX560x. On the windows itself. it is so laggish, it takes a while for wwhatever apps to load when I open it. This is the first time I bought a laptop and it is a real dissapointment. I'm expecting more in this laptop because in Philippines $650 was a really big amount. I'm not sure if I have to change some settings on the laptop which is what I did like disabling the battery saver.. Should I install something? purchase another Ram or SSD. I'm not really sure. If it can be resolved, asking for refund was a resonable option I think.. Please help me...
