Hello I have recently bought an Acer predator Helio‘s 300 the 2019 model it has an i7 9750H CPU with six cores and 12 threads. It is paired with Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti 6GB Vram. It has 16 GB ram and 512 GB Pcie NVME Ssd. I bought it for gaming. But I am having a problem with it. It lags a lot While gaming Even though when it’s plugged in to a power source. I have installed the latest drivers for Nvidia graphics card and Intel graphics card but still it didn’t resolve my issue. It Pisses me off when it lags. I have almost tried everything but still can’t fix the issue. I usually play Wolfenstein The new colossus, call of duty black ops 3, Tom Clancys the division 2, Wolfenstein Youngblood, The Witcher 3 wild hunt, Metro Exodus, and rise of the tomb raider.

If anyone knows how to fix it please let me know please.

MandeepSingh How are your temps ?? your model comes pre undervolted on stock your temps shouldnt got above 85 max cpu and 70/75 gpu if they go above on 90'ish you need to send it back for a repaste (at this point contact acer support) and have you optimized windows check my signature for the youtube channel for windows optimization videos and make sure youre running always on AC and set it perfomance mode with the battery always 100% charged before you start any game also make sure you have setup on nvcp each game manually to run on the gtx sometimes even selecting the gtx as default it wont stick properly and try older drivers use either DDU to remove them completely or when installing it select custom and clean install last resort if everything fails could have something to do with some windows updates backup whatever you need and perform a stock recovery clean install

  • I agree with colleague xapim. What I would also recommend would be to disable batteryboost and also limit fps. Also, go to the nvidia control panel and select the nvidia video card manually.

Hello Xapim. Thank you so much for the suggestion I tried Windows optimization and installed DDU And those two things resolved my issue I guess it was happening because of overheating the CPU but now my CPU doesn’t even passed 75 even after hard-core gaming so thank you so much guys I really appreciate it
