Hi community!

I have an Iconia One 7 B1-770 that came with the wrong time for my timezone, I was able to fix the issue by rooting my device and running the app TimeZone Fixer which is published on the Google Play Store. Now, I've flashed the latest stock rom to my device and the problem persists, but I would prefer not to have to root my device to fix the issue. Is that posible?

Best regards.

    did you happen to check under date and time in the settings..

    It usually shows different time zones.. UTC+ or - check and select it accordingly.

    Thanks @Rudy21, I couldn't find a time zone with just UTC+/-X (UTC plus or minus a number), do you mean a timezone for another country?

    Under date and time do you option to enable Use network provided time.. If so then enable it

    @rraallvv
    You can also disable the Use network provided time and check if you get access to change the timezone

    Thanks @Rudy21, I already tried all those options with no luck. I'm not sure if it's because it's a tablet without cellular data connection but the network provided time has no effect.

    Yes, I can select another country with the same timezone that mine, but if I select my country the timezone that appears is wrong. Each timezone has a country attached to it and there are no timezones alone without a country specified in the list of available timezones.

    Not sure if this is going to solve.. There are apps which does not require root. Let me check for such apps and share it here..

    It doesn't matter which country you select, just the zone. By default time zones are named by a large city or country that uses that zone, so Lima Peru uses the same time zone as New York, NY USA. If you were in Lima you would just choose the NY zone and everything would work fine.

    It has to be a country with the same daylight saving time that mine.
