Acer E3-575 laptop & Acer LCD Monitor K202HQL Issues

Good Morning.
I have an Acer E3-575 laptop with Windows 10. I recently purchased an Acer LCD Monitor K202HQL. I cannot get the monitor to work. It starts up with the Acer logo, but goes to "no signal.

I have connected the two with the VGA cable than came with the monitor. I have the current Generic PNP Drivers installed. The system says my drivers are the correct ones, and my device (monitor) is working properly. However, my monitor says "no signal".

In Display Settings, the system does not detect another display.

Control/Microsoft butting + P says your PC cannot project to another screen. Try reinstalling the driver or using another video card. I have reinstalled the driver with no success.

I have search the internet for several days and found no solution. Can anyone fix this?

I know you said you updated the drivers. However, check the intel website to see if the video card drivers are up to date.

Where do I go to figure out what generation my Intel processors are? Intel list the drivers by generation. In system information I found I/O Port 0x00003000-0x00003FFF Mobile Intel(R) Processor Family I/O PCI Express Root Port #12 - 9D1B

Click on "get started" and the program will automatically identify the appropriate driver.

Did you successfully perform the driver update?

No. See the pictures in the post before this one. The error messages were:

Could it be the cable? What id I use an HDMI (laptop) to DVI-D (monitor) instead of the VGA?

Could it be possible the laptop is not transmitting in VGA? that would create "no signal" because the monitor is not recognizing it. I looked in BIOS but did not find a place to change it.

I found this for Windows 7. However I have Windows 10.
