I have an Acer predator Helios 300 PH315-51 i5 8th gen 1050ti model now the problem is the FPS keeps on going up and down randomly in game between 40 to 90 all time, the temperatures used to go high as 100 c so did thermal repasting with mx-4 it brought down to 90 which I still not good did thermal repasting 2 times again the Same issue while stress testing it shows power limit throttling and thermal throttling everytime did everything from undervolting to -0.125mv following hotel hero optimization did everything no use and my CPU usage never goes beyond 50% if it goes beyond 50% the temps keeps on rising until it reach 99 c .

You have thermal throttling, thankfully one of our regulars here has come up with a collection of simple Throttlestop Profiles which should fix your problem, they are well tested and safe. Just click on the link below and follow his directions

BittuGupta if you repasted it and you still have high temps that means you did a bad repaste i repasted mine with kryonaut never had a single issue since this was 2 years ago dropped down 25+ still the same today always on 24/7 365 days  and about 6 months ago did the same to a nitro 5 sames specs as yours as its working awesomely also sold him my 32gb hyperx 2666 and installed a wdblue 500gb nvme as it only had mechanical hdd the nitro its a beast now same as mine :p and i got another 32gb 2666 vengeance so i would probably suggest you to repaste it again give kryonaut a try ans use the spread method only a thin layer covering both diodes its enough too much paste its bad same as too less and make sure the fans are properly cleaned same goes to the exit airflow and last but not the least optimize windows and undervolt it with ts (if not done already)

Ok I'll give a try thanks, will do everything as u said I just want to know about the power limit throttling issue is it got anything to do with temperatures before repasting it only had thermal throttling now after repasting the temps dropped 5-10 c but its power limit throttling always so now it's even worse then before so I want to now what exactly is power limit throttling ?

One more thing I would like to add is that same repasting I have done in GPU but it stays below 70 c under heavy load but now with CPU as I said so it is possible I have done bad repasting cause the GPU temps never crossed 70.
