The Swift 3 came with Windows 10 Home installed. It has only a 256gb SSD. No HDD. I get an error message of "Acer Care Center service is still initializing. Please try again later." It always says this no matter how many times I try it.

Have you tried reinstalling it? I just did a download and install on my system and though it took a bit of juggling balls time, it's up and running. Version 4.00.3001 was what I downloaded for my Switch 7.

I downloaded the Acer Care Center package from this site. I attempted several uninstalls and repeat installs but each time Care Center refuses start up.

My first uninstall removed the Shortcut icon from the Start Page. It never came back. Programs and Features (Control Panel) shows it has installed.

Then I found a tool on this site for checking the compatibility on my Acer Swift 3 computer. Ran "AcerCareCenterCheckTool.exe" and each time it came back with this popup message - "Sorry! This computer is not supported."

So now it seems that I will not be able to use Acer Care Center on my computer. Is this a big deal? Or not?

Open File Explorer. Click on C : folder. Click Program Files subfolder. Click Acer subfolder. Click on AcerCareCenter folder if available. Look for CareCenter.exe. If found, right click on it and create a shortcut. Drag to your desktop. Double click on it and see what happens. Jack E/NJ
