I have the Acer Aspire E5-576 series laptop and it came with a 256GB M.2 type SSD and I want to upgrade it to 1TB. I found this SSD https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX500-250GB-2280SS-Internal/dp/B0784SY515/ref=sr_1_7?crid=ODVK54L59OH9&keywords=ssd%2Bcrucial&qid=1580933214&sprefix=SSD%2Bcru%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-7&th=1 and I am wondering if anyone knows if this would work with my laptop.

Thanks

Check the answers for your queries below.

For the 2.5 inch slot could I put a SSD in there and it would work or does it have to be a HDD. > You can use any 2.5 inch drive

Also for the Card Reader section does the mean for like SD cards > You can use Micro SD cards with help of an adapter ( Make sure to use  SDHC / SDXC   /MSXC ) types of card

Also would the 2.5 inch hard drive show up as a drive like a USB would > Yes it would show-up in disk management

Lastly on the website you linked any of the SSD's there are compatible > It is the most tested to be working

I hope that this is helpful to you! If I have answered your question kindly click YES alone please, thank you  :3

Officially your model supports up to 512gb M2 SATA but many users have installed 1Tb with no problems

Please click YES if I answered your question

I am not an ACER employee
