I have a problem that disk D stops working

All programs and games installed on it have disappeared

I don't know what the problem is

Cpu I5

Ssd 126

Hdd 1TB

OK! Now open cmd as an administrator and run this command:

diskpart

list disk

sel disk 1 (referring to the 1tb disk)

clean (erases everything)

convert gpt

create partition primary

format fs = ntfs quick

assign

Open cmd or PowerShell run as administrator.you can right click on start button and find Window PowerShell (admin) then u need to write some command their follow my setups.

• To repair errors type chkdsk volume: /f and press Enter, where volume is the letter of the drive you’d like to run a scan for, e.g. C: or D:
  Example of a command you need to type if your volume is C:

  chkdsk C: /f

• To repair errors and scan for bad sectors, type chkdsk volume: /r and press Enter, where volume is the letter of the drive you’d like to repair, e.g. A: or D:
  Example of command you need to type if the volume you want to scan is A:

  chkdsk A: /r

You may confused the /r parameter will try to repair errors and scan for bad sectors and /f parameter to find 1st try /f then /f as i create steps above

You have assigned it to array as a recovery, that`s why uou can`t see it. Change in BIOS -SATA mode to AHCI and unassign the disk, your data is lost anyway.

Can you provide the exact model? Example AN515-51-75KZ. I agree with colleague batmalin about sata mode, but do it this way:

a) first enable safe boot and restart windows:

b) enter the bios and create a password on the setsupervisorpassword and disable secureboot. Then change the sata mode to ahci. If your bios does not have the sata mode function, go to the main tab and press ctrl + s.

c) then press f10 to save on exit.

And the disk size d is not 1TB

 What was the other explanation you followed to get the disk to appear in Disk Management? I'm unable to get it to be visible.

In unallocated space, right-click and then select "new volume". Choose simple volume.
