Hey guys, my AN515-51 does not detect the camera. I receive the error 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>.
In the devices menager the camera is not listed, also under hidden devices.
I also can not find the cam driver anywhere.
Looks like something is wrong with the hardwere, but maybe someone has an idea?

    Try below steps and check:
    1. Use the Hardware & Devices Troubleshooter

Type Troubleshoot in Windows Start Search box > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down & Click Hardware & Devices > Click Run the Troubleshooter & follow on-screen directions > Restart the computer after troubleshooting is completed

    2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to invoke Task Manager > Go to the “Processes” tab > See which programs are currently running in the background of the system and If you found an app that uses Camera, end that program

    3. Reset Camera app
Right click on Windows Start > Apps & features > Scroll down and click Camera> Click Advanced options > Click Reset > Restart your computer

    4. Uninstall and Reinstall Camera app

I have done all the steps, except the last one.
I can not reinstall the app, however the issue persist everywhere. For ex. I can not make video chat over FB, skype, etc.

    try this:
    • To Perform Roll back driver option Open Device manager by press windows + R, type devmgmt.msc and hit the enter key.
    • Here on device manager Expand Imaging devices or Sound, video, and game controllers or Cameras and find your webcam listed under it.
    • Right-click on your webcam and select Properties. Next Switch to Driver tab and if RollBack Driver option is available click on it.
    • Select Yes to continue with the rollback and reboot your PC once the process is complete.
    • After that check and open Camera app hope this time starts without any error.

Check on the top of you will find an option like "view", click on it and check for " show hidden devices " and check whether you find the drivers.

I had this same problem, go to settings, privacy and make sure the camera is allowed access system wide.

    Hi,

I found 'Game Controllers' but no camera is listed there, just two options for audio.
    What do I do?
