Should I upgrade my Acer E5-475G-56XB or buy Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54-51M5?

This isn't a technical question, but I am in a conundrum. I did video editing on my laptop and occasionally play games(single-player only) on my current laptop. I'm unsatisfied with the time it took for my video editor to load things for each click of the mouse and the way the screen flicker whenever I play Witcher 3, and I'm not sure if upgrading it is worth it? Or should I buy a new laptop? (suggestion for alternate product is appreciated, both for upgrading current/buying new laptop).

I have been using my current laptop for two years and now its battery is already dead. While I do have the budget to buy a new laptop, I'm not sure if I need to buy a new one. 

For upgrading my current laptop, I'm thinking of buying a 32GB(16x2) 2133MHz to replace the original 4GB 2133MHZ RAM since I have a lot of tabs in my browser(even while video editing). I also thought of investing more by buying a 32GB(16x2) 2666MHz so that I can use them if I ever thought of using a new laptop in another 1 or 2 years. And if I upgrade my current laptop, I might buy a M.2 SSD SPG SX8200 to improve loading speed.

Or should I just forget about this laptop and start thinking of buying a new one? Your help is very appreciated.

I think 32GB memory is an overkill in my opinion but it's up to you because you know how much memory you need, I would suggest you to go for 2133/2400MHz modules because I guess future laptops will be equipped with LPDDR4 type modules and they will be soldered but you should remember that it's only my assumption and there's no firm evidence for my statement, I think moving to M.2 SSD will improve overall performance but try avoiding XPG SSDs, it works fine for some but not everyone is happy with the brand, I would suggest you to go for Samsung Evo, Crucial or WD PC SN520
Finally, your laptop is fine for another couple of years in my opinion and would suggest you to upgrade with as little money as possible.
