Hello,
I bought an Acer Monitor (ET322QK) not too long ago, I was using it just fine, sound was fine, I plugged in a small speaker and everything was fine. One day I woke up and the Sound was very low...
Super LOW, at first I thought it was the speaker so i disconnected it. But it turns out the volume from the monitor is extremely low. I tried turning everything up, from the Monitor, PC, Control Panel, Hardware and sounds, I tried updating driver (it says its up to date... Driver Version 10.0.18362.1). Everything I do volume is just extremely low.. I can't really hear it, but I can hear the bells when I do the test sound.

At this point I don't know what to do... I tried contacting Acer but they want me to spend money out of my own pocket to ship a 30 pound monitor. I am sure the monitor is fine, I feel like it has to do with an update. or im not sure... Please help.

have you tried to manually update the monitor drivers..

If not please update the drivers and test.. Also, try monitor reset if the above steps doesnt fix it..

Yes, I have tried to manually update the driver and nothing. as well as reset the monitor countless of times...
as mentioned in my previous post. I have tried updating the driver, roll it back, hard reset, reset computer, everything.... the sound you cant hear it when its directly from the monitor. if I plug a speaker it comes out 20%-30% out of 100. still very low. (and yes I've checked the communications tabs)
I am not too sure what is going on; id figure acer would have a fix by now... but it seems like im not the only one, and 4 months later there is nothing...

I would guess either the OSD for the monitor have it's volume output set low or there is a hardware issue internally in the monitor where it does sound conversion. What does it sound like if you plug your speaker directly into the computer instead of to the monitor?
