Acer Aspire E E-15 - Can i use NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD in configuration version 3.0 Maximum link width 2x

  1. Hi,  i want to upgrade M.2 SSD in my laptop (Model E5-575-50zz) and my laptop configuration is attached below via image. Can i also use supported version 3.0 Maximum link width 4x  M.2 SSD in my laptop. and also suggest best NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD for version 3.0 Maximum link width 2x.

    Hi,
    Yes you can install a M.2 NVMe SSD, crucial advertises 1TB M.2 SATA SSD as compatible and I have seen someone installing a 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD but couldn't find anyone using a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, so I think 99.9% it will work but can not confirm with any evidence.

            As per as the above specs of your unit, it supports M.2 NVMe SSD. 
     Also find the System Memory information of your unit below.
