Swift SF315-52G does not work with 1TB SSD

I downloaded and successfully installed the Bios version 1.08 firmware for my Swift SF315-52G as I assumed this would make my newly purchased SSD work. I downloaded the driver from here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7630?b=1

I purchased a Samsung 860 PRO SATA 2.5" SSD 1TB like this one: https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-860-pro-2-5--sata-iii-1tb-mz-76p1t0bw/

When I plug in the SSD to the SATA port where my HDD is currently inserted, the laptop freezes at the Acer logo. I cannot even access BIOS by pressing F2 or anything else. If I replace the SSD with the HDD again, everything works, the Bios works, the OS loads and everything functions as normal.

What do I need to do to get the SSD working in my laptop as I want a better and faster disk in my laptop instead of this very slow HDD?

Does Acer really not offer us to install an SSD in a 1000£ plus laptop? If this is the case I will never buy Acer again. But I hope someone has a solution so that I can keep using the laptop and not have to throw it away.

Other users have reported incompatibilities with this samsung ssd. I would try to do the following:

a) update the 860 pro firmware on another computer

b) in the bios, make these changes:

b.1) change the sata mode to ahci: however, it is recommended to first activate the safe boot in order not to corrupt windows:

b.2) disable secure boot by creating a password on the setsupervisorpassword.
c) then insert the ssd again and check if it is recognized without problems.
