Hi everyone,
I bought my laptop two months ago and since three weeks, without any new software installation, my laptop started to freeze unexpectedly.
I tried several tips found on internet (about SSD or graphical cards) but it didn't work.
I reinstalled Windows and I had the same freezing issue. Not only on game but even on youtube or random websites.
Someone has exactly the same pb than me and it seems that Acer didn't do anything, considering it's not a real problem... https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/777761#Comment_777761.

If someone know how to detect and correct this kind of issue, please tell me.
I was really happy with this laptop but I want a "trustable"  laptop...

Make sure you have done these things

1, Go to your support page, download and install the latest BIOS v 1.23, it is under the BIOS tab and it contains all other updates
        https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7964?b=1
    2. Go to your Nvidia Control panel and click "Help" in the top menu then click updates and run the updater
    3. Run Windows Update

Please click YES if I answered your question

I am not an ACER employee
Thank you and have a blessed day  B)

Hi andylb, I did the BIO update but it 's still the same.
I'm pretty sure that this issue came from a Windows update (in december or end of november).
When I look at others issues similar to mine, it' allways a topic create in november or december.
Have you heard of an issue from the lasts Windows update?

Should I reinstall all the pilots from the support page and see if it works?

Laptop randomly freezing issue may occur due to program conflict and if this is the case, then the solution for it is you need to uninstall or update the programs. Open the Control Panel window and then click on "Programs and features" that is there under the Programs section. Next, get the program from the list and click on it, select Uninstall or Update to fix the problem. To know more solutions you can visit the Acer Laptop Services Center that is near to you.
