I am trying to upgrade to 64 gigs of memory.  I have 3 16 gig sticks installed and 1 8 gig stick installed in slot identified as #2.  if i install a 16 gig memory in this slot computer will not boot?  I know its not a bad slot at it boots with 8 gig stick installed but with a 16 gig nothing.  have tested all memory stick with this setup and they all work, cant get mor that 57 gig total to boot.

the 8 gig stick i have is the kingston from back of M/B to test with.  others oare crucial 16 gigi stick.
any help is appriciated.

@Turtleiscool this is your system supported ram

    System Memory 0
    Dual-channel DDR4 SDRAM support:
Up to 16 GB of DDR4 system memory, upgradable to 64 GB using four so-DIMM modules for
    quadruple-core CPU under 64-bit OS

You should be able to setup 64gb easily probably try another brand like hyperx or vengeance personally i dont use crucial (have seen many incompatibility issues with it and i had them myself in the past) and dont forget the max you cpu will support its 2400mhz

Your mainboard has dual channel support. It can thus be touchy about mixing module speeds/brands or unmatched Crucial pairs even though higher speeds/brands should theoretically be compatible. Are the four 16GB Crucials identical? I'm guessing that one Crucial pair isn't matched.  Are they all the same speed as the 8GB Kingston either 2133 or 2400MHz? Jack E/NJ

All my 16 Gig sticks are identical.  DDR 4-2400, They all even show part number. They each  individual 16gig stick work in any other slot. I can't figure out why my  slot 2 only is working with 8 gig kingston module from original factory. CPUZ shows the one 8 gig stick running is single at 1200MHZ.  I am at a loss.  Have read multiple post about similar issues.

Put all the 16GB sticks in, then boot up and enter the BIOS menu. Make sure they're all recognized. Then press F10 to save settings and exit. Jack E/NJ
