The model I have is Acer Aspire 3 [ A315-41-R2W5 ] which came with 8 GB DDR4 Memory and 1TB Hard Drive. This post is to help anyone who wants to know what parts work on this model. Sorry I don't know if these will work on any other model.

For ram I upgraded the AData 8GB (4GB x 2) to G.Skill RipJaws 32GB (16GB x2) https://www.gskill.com/product/2/197/1540867214/F4-2400C16D-32GRSRipjaws-DDR4-SO-DIMMDDR4-2400MHz-CL16-16-16-1.20V32GB-(2x16GB)

For storage I kept the 1TB for storage but for the m.2 slot I added WD Blue 3D NAND SATA SSD M. 2280 1TB Drive https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/product-detail/p/276 note you don't have to buy a m.2 screw it was included (screwed in)

For wifi I switched the Qualcomm Atheros QCNFA435 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.1 to a Intel AX200NGW with Bluetooth 5.0 https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/189347/intel-wi-fi-6-ax200.html#tab-blade-1-7

Huh... interesting picture you have there hehe

There seems to be another model of the A315-41 line that has discrete graphics too, the cooling solution you see in yours (that thin copper pipe leading to the fan) goes over an area that is un-populated. Over there is where the graphics card would be, and I'm guessing you'd have another pipe and a second fan as well (what I see left of yours seems to be a placeholder plastic?).

I see the cooling solution for the A315-41G has a thicker heatpipe, since it also has to cool the dedicated graphics, but still ships with a single fan, at least the model I saw. In any case, more mass, better thermals, it'd be fun to check it out; the trouble would be to acquire the piece haha.
