Acer CB-515-1HT Screen not working
Hi all,
First post here and looking for some answers. Last March I bought an Acer 15" CB515-1HT-C2AE from target. I have used it sporadically for the last 9 months and it has worked perfectly. Over last week, however, I went to turn it on and the screen no longer came on. The blue light on the side turned on as well as the keyboard lights, but black screen. The light on the side goes orange when I plug it in and when I hold the power button down the keyboard lights go off as well as the sidelight. It seems to be responding just fine. I've also power washed it and tried the hard reset with the refresh button and power button. Any ideas on why this happens? I has not been dropped and is taken care of well.
I have a case open with Acer but I am worried I won't get anywhere. Even though I typed in the serial number and bought it on March 27 of last year, it shows "warranty expired" which doesn't make sense since it's not been a year since purchase. I looked online and can find screen replacements for around 60 dollars, but I am hoping it can be repaired by Acer. Anyone got any tips?
