Laptop: 2019 Nitro 5
Specs:
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300 CPU @ 2.40Ghz
- NVIDIA GeForce 1650 @ 4gb
- Installed RAM @ 8gb
- HDD @ 1Tb

I get higher Temperature (reaching 80-90c) than Performance Percentage (below 50%) when playing games. How can I reduce the temperature without sacrificing the performance?
I've already set the power plan to high performance and as well as the nvidia graphics to high performance as well. thank you

80 to 90 deg is within Specs so unless you are experiencing low fps or stuttering which indicate throttleing back due to high temperature, I would do nothing. However if you still want to reduce the temperatures follow my guide below

Repaste with Grizzly Kryonaut which is fairly simple and the video below shows you how step by step but only if you do not have a sticker on the underside saying "Warranty void if removed". You can also try undervolting using Throttlestop, reduce it to -0.180v, -0.175v in steps, -0.150 is usually about right and has been shown to drop temps to around 80 deg.
