Monitor Tilt seems loose VG240Y

Hi Everyone,

I’ve had my VG240Y 23.8” for a little over a year now and I’ve had no complaints. Recently, I’ve noticed that overnight my monitor seems to tilt downwards by itself and when I went to check it out, it looks like the stand itself has loosened. I’ve checked the user manual but I can’t seem to find anything about tightening the stand so the monitor doesn’t tilt. Is this common in Acer monitors? I’m looking for advice to tighten the monitor to avoid this tilt but still allow me to adjust the tilt as needed.

I don't have a VG240Y to look at, but usually there's either a bolt in the hinge at the top of the neck, or a pin and spring. Maybe yours is the latter and the spring is broken?
