Predator Helios 300 Connection issues
Since out of the box this laptop has consistently lagged out of control. For online gaming shake, this is one of the least reliable computers I've ever had. Between consistent disconnections and lag spikes up to 900 ping, I've not had a moment when this thing has worked for me soundly, ever. When I first bought it in march or April of 2019, I originally thought it was a Comcast provider issue. After a month of dancing around with the internet and testing my laptop in different environments it was safe to say that it was a either a software or hardware issue. However while casually streaming and watching things online it is fine. It's only when playing multiplayer games or downloading stuff, then the it goes wild. Since I was paying the thing off until around the summer I was afraid to send it back and not sure about the warranty situation. Please help!
If any of ya'll have any idea on a home fix with the internet connection please help.
Things tried:
-$50+ on a faster internet speed
-downloaded wifi drivers then manually uninstalled drivers and installed new ones
-tried hard line Ethernet no change in connection reliability
At this point is absolutely clear this is an issue on my computer, not something else.
