Hello, Im new to the forum, I bought a G9-793 when i was studying in Australia and now i am facing a very loud buzz when the system is under load. I found now it is a known issue and that acer is repairing it. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/534951/acer-predator-g9-593-buzzing-noise-coming-from-speakers-under-full-load-with-video/p9
I have moved to Sri Lanka since last month and now i have no way to send this back to Australia. There are Acer dealers and agents here but before i approach them can i please know if i am entitled to any repairs from here since it is a manufacturers fault.
@Acer-Manny i saw you have closed that thread and can you please help me with my problem.

PSP95 @Acer-Manny would probably be able to help you but i think you should contact the acer support directly as this community its not a acer support direct channel in any way we are just here as voluntary to help to troubleshoot any hardware/software issues that might arise and we do not work for acer we are just normal users like you acer staff only manages it and will only step in in the more complicated cases when needed as i said i still think you best option its to contact acer support directly and explain the situation so they can forward you case to the appropriate channels :)

@xapim yes. there is a very large number of helpful and tech savvy users here which i would love to be a part of ahead. Actually i made the post because i wanted to PM @Acer-Manny but i think because i'm new it doesn't allow me to.  I moved to Acer after finally going through two failed motherboards on MSI GE series laptops. I actually repair several laptops of friends and their friends etc a month but even then i was reluctant to open up this acer except to fit my PCI-E SSD, 16 gigs of RAM and add a HDD caddy for the Frostcore all from my salvage MSI :)  Was hoping to open it up and repaste and undervolt by the end of this year and its already failing on me :'(. The direct support of almost all the tech brands here in my country are such terrible and very negative and not helpful to customers except when making a sale. That's why i wanted to get some additional information before i talked to them with facts. Their first response would be that its not covered by warranty even without looking at the problem or diagnosing  Had the same with a friends almost brand new Aspire series bought from the agent itself when the mobo failed. Im having a logitech G910 with a known factory defect of solder flux causing double strokes and no help with that too for months now and still no resolution. >.< Why are new hardware components dying so fast.. My old gaming PC of 10 years is still running 24x7 without any hiccups with so much OC to keep that i5-760 from being the bottleneck. :D

I am very sorry to hear you're experiencing this, if the unit is under warranty, you need to contact your local Acer support channels for better assistance. Our notebooks have International Travelers Warranty but the required validation may vary by country:
