B326HUL - Standby Mode / Power Save - Monitor Does Not Come Back On

I have the B326HUL monitor as a dual display on my computer. (Windows 10)
It is connected through the display port while the second monitor I have connected through a VGA.
If I leave the system for long enough the monitors go into sleep mode and when I try and wake them, only the VGA monitor comes on.
I am guessing this isnt a function of the monitor itself, but something to do with a setting - but I have gone through the power save settings and didnt see anything there.
For a long time I have been unplugging the DP from the monitor and then plugging it back in.
More recently when I have gone to the display settings, I have noticed that the ACER monitor will be set to "turn off this display" (or some wording like that).
I dont know why it keeps reverting back to this - it makes it a pain to get the 2 displays back after any period of time.
Anyone have any ideas?

Try disable the Quick start mode

Where is the Quick Start mode? In Windows 10 or the Monitor Menus?

This setting was in the OSD of the monitor - I still havent found the quickstart you mentioned before.
I have turned it off - Nothing immediately has changed.
I will leave the computer until tomorrow and see if the monitor turns on normally or not.

OK! This monitor does not have quick start mode.

So after the test yesterday there was not change.
I turned off both monitors and returned today to work.
When I turned both monitors, the VGA one comes on as the only display.
If you go into the "display settings", instead of the "extend desktop" in the drop down, it has somehow changed to "show only on 2" - where 2 is the VGA monitor. The ACER just keeps saying no source. When I unplug the Display Port cable and plug it back in, most of the time that kick starts the connection and the monitor comes back on.
The DDC/CI appears to make no difference.
Something else I tried before was lowering the DP to version 1.1 instead of 1.2 - doesnt appear to have made a difference.
I have to think it is windows based, but I cant be sure.

Can you provide the exact model of your computer?

When you connect the monitor to the hdmi port, does the same problem occur? Are there any settings in the bios, regarding the video card settings? What is the model of your video card?
