My camera is not good for closeup so it's not at all useful but I have got a similar picture for the condition of the screw its exactly same. But as u know the screws are small and it's very tight .

Actual picture is ALWAYS recommended for that plays an important part when exploring options.

I had this issue but the screw was more or less accessible so I used a file to make a notch on the head and then a flat screw driver to finally unscrew it
It all depends on the place where damaged scre is
  • Would it be interesting to let you know if the notebook is still under warranty?

  • I agree with my friend sri369. It would be interesting if you sent a screenshot of the damaged screws that are installed in your notebook.

BittuGupta Theres always the rubber band method which seems to work with many and as always my advice is do not start to disassemble any device without making sure you are using the proper tools for it this happens a lot when trying to use screwdrivers that are not proper for the exact screws and those are very small and many different sizes will require different bits/screwdrivers  then forcing it will damage them permanently so the main advice here if youre not sure on how to do it neither what are the proper tools to do it just dont do it at all get someone who can do it properly :)

Also you stated its still under warranty (its more of a case it was under warranty) but the issue is if you would send it back now the way it is they would void it immediately  due to the damaged screws anything considered user self damage gives any manufacturer the right to void your warranty without any explanation even if you didnt had any seals when you opened it everyone its free to open it without voiding the warranty if they dont have any seals but the moment they damage anything you can consider your warranty voided unless you are able to fix it properly because in case you have to send it back it has on inspection it has to be on stock (this include all internal stock drives not accessible without disassembling it) for ex if i had to send mine for warranty for any reason i would had to remove my 2tb m.2 and reinsert the 120gb m.2 before i would send it in or else it would be voided thats why when i clone the stock drives i always keep them as failsafe backup and for warranty purposes
