Hi and Good day,

i have a few questions for Veriton's PSU options and how it is being designed.

1. where does Acer define its rating for recommended wattage. like 250 watts for the entire system. is this based on the included components and optional components wattage available in the datasheet?

2. is it much better to have a 250 watts which can power the entire system or 500 watts to have more room for upgrades? can you guys give me a justifiable answer to this?

3. does Acer have branded components inside its veriton desktop aside its CPU and memory? or all of it OEM/Generic components

apologies for this questions.

hopefully somebody can help me understand this.

    Good Morning Shiro1994 !

    Let's do it by steps:

What EXACT model of your computer?

1- The power is classified by performing the base calculation for the hardware set installed in the equipment.

2- The PSU issue is this: It only pays to have a higher power if the system is really needed when using high performance or for future upgrades.
Otherwise it is just a PSU that will generate more power consumption unnecessarily.

3- Acer does not hardware factory but develops projects.
The entire hardware package is purchased from batches of production companies according to each project and availability in certain countries and regions.
