My Bluetooth has disappeared (- since a Windows update????)

Mt TC-780 had perfectly good Bluetooth capabilities until recently, but now there is nothing. I cannot see Bluetooth on Control panel so cannot switch it on.

I have tried deleting devices and rebooting - nothing
I tried the Microsoft driver reload - nothing
I tried the Qualcast Atheros setup up - nothing

Does anyone have any clues what else I can try?

Hi,
Go to Services and check whether any of the Bluetooth services are stopped, if they are, start them and select startup type as Automatic.

The first two have been set to automatic, but whatever start option I select for the third/bottom one it says that the "the parameter is incorrect". I have rebooted and there is still no sign of bluetooth on my machine

Well! I disconnect the PC, took off the cover and had a look inside. I was looking to see if I could see any clues as to what bluetooth was installed, but could see nothing. I put the cover back on and reconnected.

Now Bluetooth is back and working. No idea why or how, but it is working. Maybe the PC just wanted stroking??
