Aspire V Nitro VN7 Hinge cover

Hello, I've got quick question, but maybe a hard one.

I've got an Aspire V Nitro VN7-792G with a damaged middle hinge cover, the silver one that says "Aspire V Nitro".

I'm desperately trying to get a replacement part but it seems that online the cover specifically for the VN7-729 which is part number 42.G6RN1.001 is out of stock everywhere though the hinge cover for the VN7-529 is in-stock everywhere which is part number 42.G6GN1-001. Its throwing me off that they are 2 different part numbers but I'm not sure if there is really any difference with the two parts and whether or not they are interchangeable.

Anyone have any experience with that part or at least the physical differences between the VN7-729 and the VN7-529?

You may ask if he ships to the United States! I also found this piece on ebay, in the range of U$17.00.

Yeah, he confirmed there is no stock for this exact part. Those ones on ebay say they are for the VN7-592, not specifically the VN7-792, I don't know how much different they could really be. I might just give it a shot though.

Just in case anyone else stumbles upon this thread with this extremely specific problem, 42.G6RN1.001 middle hinge cover for the vn7-792g is a bit longer in length than 42.G6GN1-001 for the vn7-592 due to the 592 being a 15.6" screen vs the 792's 17".

Its true that 42.G6GN1-001 is available almost everywhere but 42.G6RN1.001 for the 792 is only in stock at Acer for warranty service and no one else has it.

I did find the only one on ebay from the UK that I ordered.

But was the piece aligned and perfectly fitted?

Sorry I should've been more clear, 42.G6GN1-001 for the 592 does not fit the vn7-792g.

The part for the vn7-792 is extremely hard to find.

Yes, he stated that this part is all out of stock with Acer directly.

Out of stock here as well, and in EU it is in-stock only for warranty repairs according to zandparts.com.

Its all good though, like I said I already found a used one in the UK that I ordered.
